Take a moment to think about what you need today. Do you have tasks that need to get done? Deadlines at work? Projects or studying for school? Chores at home that need to get done? Ignoring what needs to get done doesn’t work. Putting it out of your mind or delaying a necessary task, just makes things worse in the end.
Are most of your tasks up to date? Does your body or mind need a rest? Are you tired, thirsty, burned out? Pushing and pushing beyond your limits will end up making you sick. Take care of your body and mind and give it rest when it needs it.
Think over your day. Does it need to be productive? Restful? Can there be a compromise of both? It does is no good to ignore what needs to be done whether it is doing or resting.
